Abstract :
Set a reasonable value of max-limited speed is an important part of traffic control. On the basis of systematically analyzing the information processing mode of driver and considered the performance differences of different vehicles, each kind of traffic information in work zone is classified and quantified and a calculation method of different vehiclespsila max-limited speed for work zone of highway is discussed according to driverspsila information processing ability. Considered there are large and small two kinds of vehicles in the case, samples of different width and length of work zone are given to testify the max-limited speed value, which is changed along with the geometrical shape of work zone. And result of the max-limited speed value of different vehicles is dissimilar, thus the method of max-limited speed based on information processing is feasible.
