Abstract
This paper presents experimental measurements of communication interaction within the adjacent channels in a sensor wireless network. The sensor wireless network operates in 868 MHz frequency band with 200 kHz logical channel spacing and is intended for ad-hoc distance vector routing protocol operating within one logical channel. Packet loss within such network influences performance of routing protocol. The measurement was carried out to obtain a useful information about the packet loss in the sensor network caused by simultaneous communication on one of the adjacent channels. The packet loss caused by simultaneous communication on 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th adjacent channel was determined.
