Abstract
This paper describes the operation of the FET difference amplifier as it applies to triangle-to-sine conversion. The circuit can be a part of a function generator integrated on a single monolithic integrated circuit. This paper includes a detailed examination of the properties of the transfer function of the circuit, and an evaluation of the total harmonic distortion with circuit parameters chosen to improve overall performance. Theoretical analysis and experimental results are given.
