Abstract
The paper presents a smart system able to control the stress-annealing process applied on the amorphous magnetic wires. The feature of these materials consists in the absence of the magneto-crystalline interaction. Therefore, the magnetic domain structure is mainly given by the magnetoelastic coupling between magnetostriction and the internal stresses. These stresses induced by controlled stress annealing allow the obtaining of materials having new magnetic properties required in special applications.
