Abstract
Combining classic rolling and casting theory and finite element method (FEM), a rolling force controlling model has been deduced in twin-roll strip casting, which considers the influence of casting velocity and melt level. After accuracy certification, the model has high precision under given conditions, and it can be used to set initial parameters before strip casting and can be used to adjust correlative parameters quickly during strip casting.
