Abstract :
MPSoC (Multi-Processor Systems on Chip) plays a very important role for various electronic systems in the ubiquitous (or ambient) information society, such as multi-media information processing systems, communication systems, and control systems. In this presentation, requirements to electronic systems in the ubiquitous (or ambient) information society are analyzed, and the advantages of MPSoC are discussed as an infra-structure of future electronic systems. Then the state-of-the-arts system level design methodologies of MPSoC are introduced.
