Abstract :
In this paper, we investigate the compensation of the BLW by a per-survivor processing (PSP) approach that works in each surviving VA path. Since we do not wait for VA decisions, we avoid delay or VA decision errors as in the DC loop approach. Also the PSP method does not assume DC-free codes nor does it use a differentiator. However, the PSP method needs the HPF model to be accurate and the time constant of the HPF known.
