Abstract :
In the paper, a new write channel-insensitive method has been developed to remove ISI in longitudinal magnetic recording via the Hilbert transform. As described in the literature, the longitudinal and transverse magnetic fields (in a two-dimensional approximation) form a Hilbert transform pair.
