Abstract :
In this paper is describes a method of connecting smart outlet to WiFi network using CC3000 module. The algorithm has been implemented for reporting and detecting smart outlet on the network. This paper shows possibilities MSP430 microcontroller with FRAM memory, and the interface between the microcontrollers via SPI communication with smart outlet. UPnP protocol was described, and the issues which have been occurred during the implemented UPnP protocol. The reason why is limitations of microcontroller. The smart way to configure WiFi modulus CC3000 is described here. The client application was realized on PC, which allows visibility of all smart outlets which are on the network, and also controlling with some specific smart outlet.
