  • Abstract
The purpose of this paper is a numerical and experimental investigation of the shielding efficiency of low-cost metallic sheets in a frequency range 1-100 kHz. The analysis is performed on planar sheets constituted of aluminum, low-carbon steel, nonoriented (NO) and grain-oriented (GO) Fe-Si alloys. The experimental and modelling analyses have allowed the quantitative evaluation of the shielding factor (SF) versus frequency of pure conductive or ferromagnetic shields.
