Abstract :
Summary form only. In some recent years the studies of two sufficiently prospective resonators, namely the custom resonator and the resonator with a ´cat-eye´ reflector (CER) were carried out. The studies conducted have demonstrated prospects of usage of these resonators, however some their disadvantages have also been found out limiting their application area. The goal of this paper is to offer a new hybrid resonator in regard to the two above mentioned. The hybrid resonator differs in that it accumulates advantages of those resonators and smoothes their drawbacks. The considered resonator has the flat coupler mirror and the CER, equivalent to the spherical rear mirror. In the CER input plane an axial-symmetry aberrator is placed with phase addition being a half as large as that of the rear-mirror surface profile in the custom resonator. In addition to all attractive features of the custom resonator, the hybrid one also shows a low sensitivity to a dynamic intra-cavity wedge.
