Abstract :
The static characteristics model of the gear motor was established by both theoretical derivation and parameters calculation. The static model included torque, flow rate and efficiency were established by the idea of torque balance and flow rate balance based on gear theory and fluid dynamics. An optimum design was carried out for the highest efficiency. The optimum values of in the model which affect the motor efficiency were obtained, and the results were validated by experiments. The improved motor efficiency was increased by 21%, and the motor was used in pneumatic roof bolter successfully.
