Abstract :
This paper proposes a distance education system based on CBM using a personal computer which is real time interactive system with the addition of an external device. This system works with educational systems that are located at multiple campuses for delivering lectures with the aid of a surveillance system. This distance education system consists of multiple functions such as white-board, multiple opposition monitoring, audio support, tool box which is based on the user-preference, and an additional environmental technique. This system has provides session management, access control functions, network control and media control. This system also provides classrooms monitoring especially, for the purpose of watching each classroom. The surveillance system transfers the status of each classroom to the host site by decreasing the load of sending video data. It also has the function of diminishing the additional cost of communication when watching and the empty classroom for monitoring at night. Using a guarding system means protects the real estate and can prevent possible loss of lives resulting from an accident, without additional costs. The system is one of the open university systems which is now a hot issue involving the use of multimedia on the network for the end-users. It is implemented on the cyberspace to provide the transmission of information between the host site and remote site
