Abstract
We investigate a detection dynamics of a generalized parallel interference canceller (PIC) for CDMA multiuser detection, applied to a randomly spread, fully synchronous base-band uncoded CDMA channel model with additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) under perfect power control in the large-system limit. To the analysis, we apply the generating functional analysis (GFA), which allows us to study the dynamics of infinitely large disordered system in an exact way. Using the analysis of our generalized PIC, we also show a detection dynamics of Tanaka-Okada PIC (T. Tanaka and M. Okada, 1990) by GFA. The predictions of GFA exhibit good consistency with the computer simulation result
