Abstract :
In this paper, we present a practical RS-CC concatenated coding scheme for half-duplex decode-and-forward (DF) relaying in the WiMAX system. In our proposed scheme, the relay firstly decodes the code from the source, then it sends the punctured information of the CC to the destination. We also proposed a soft decoding scheme for the concatenated codes. The simulation results of several models of the concatenated codes found in IEEE 802.16 technical specification are presented.
