Abstract :
Resonant synchronous rectification for high frequency low voltage high current DC/DC converter is proposed in this paper. It features soft-switching and no body-diode conduction, which is very promising for high switching frequency operation. A family of isolated soft-switching DC/DC converters and two non-isolated soft-switching DC/DC converters implementing the resonant synchronous rectification are proposed in this paper. A prototype of 1 MHz 48 V-to-1.2 V/28 A 1/16 brick DC-DC converter demonstrates the 84% overall efficiency.
