    Summary form only given. Liquid-crystal based electro-optical devices can record holograms of dynamic aberrations providing a combination of speed and sensitivity that is superior to that of nonlinear optical media. Utilizing prototype liquid-crystal spatial light modulator devices developed and adapted for this application, membrane-mirror-based imaging and beam projection laboratory systems are demonstrated.
