Abstract :
The absolute stability problem of sampled-data systems with a sector nonlinearity is studied using the FR-operator technique. A frequency-domain criterion using a Nyquist-like plot is derived. It can be regarded as a sampled-data counterpart to the circle criterion, and the `absolute-stability gain margin´ can be read directly from the plot
