Abstract :
This study discusses the construction of an electric motorcycle simulation system. It is applicable for childrenpsilas toy motorcycles and adultspsila motorcycles, and also is a reference for constructing larger electric vehicles. The complete model of the electric motorcycle is established by establishing models of individual components (such as battery, motor, transmission, etc.) based upon their characteristics and properties. Using the Matlab and Simulink software program model to simulate performance, the parameters of the model can be easily changed according to design and demand. To compare simulation results with actual test data, the model can effectively reconstruct the physical properties of the electric motorcycle, such as acceleration, velocity, energy efficiency, etc. By evaluating the simulation results, a simulator can provide valuable data to design and analyze electric motorcycle prototypes. Therefore, rapid prototyping and hardware-in-the-loop can be achieved to speed up the development of new vehicles.
