Abstract
The diversity of the information through the Web increases the importance of the need to trust information published on the Web especially in cases where information publisher or poster may not be known. For some websites, such as those of the Universities and e-government portals, it is extremely important for users to know the source of the information posted on those websites and its credibility level. In this paper, we evaluated some of the important metrics in which we can evaluate the trust rank and the credibility of different websites. We used selected websites of Jordanian universities and e-government portals as a case study. We evaluated those websites in comparison with known websites in terms of trust and credibility.
