Abstract
A stator doubly fed doubly salient permanent magnet (SDF-DSPM) machine is proposed for automotive integrated starter generator (ISG) systems. Finite element method is used to calculate the electromagnetic torque and induced EMF to analyze the functionality of the proposed SDF-DSPM machine.
