Abstract
Summary form only. Geometrical data about surface shape or volume structure are helpful for medical diagnostics. We will discuss sensors with micrometer resolution and tomographic capabilities. For use in dermatologic applications, sensors with 10 micrometers resolution; for dental applications and sensors with 200 micrometers resolution.
