Abstract
It is noted that wind-tunnel testing of pressure models, especially those with internal flow measurements, often turns into a long, tedious experience of calibrations and system check before the actual experiments can begin. A system that incorporates modern fiber-optic technology and a set of simple devices is described. It offers a simple, quick and on-site trouble-shooting diagnosis that saves time and effort in the routing work on wind-tunnel pressure models. It was found that the use of simple devices with a fiber-optic viewing system has simplified the work of the wind-tunnel crew by making possible an on-site overall check of pressure models (even of small ones) without disconnecting or dismantling the model or the pressure circuitry. The apparatus and mode of operation are described
