Abstract
The wireless spectrum resource becomes more and more precious so that the efficiently use of the limit resource has been a hot research point. In order to efficiently use the ISM bands, we focused on the characteristics and rules of the Bluetooth system as the primary frequency hopping system at ISM 2.4 GHz band and found out that in the ISM band there still are many ¿spectrum hole¿ unused in time domain. Using the cognitive radio technology, we propose a way of idle channel time space estimation and a spectrum sharing strategy. The simulation shows that the cognitive user could quickly find out the spectrum hole and accessing the idle channel without interfering the authorized user.
