Abstract
The improved MPPT (maximum power point tracking) control method for dual modules is presented in this paper. In this method, the voltage and current information of each module are shared and utilized for the detection of MPP without measuring power. This approach can be implemented in simple structure due to the elimination of memory and multiplicative operation, especially, in analog control circuit. The proposed method is verified by a hardware prototype of dual PV system with the proposed analog-implemented MPPT controller.
