Abstract :
Combining with the mechanism of tongue inspection in traditional chinese medicine, the study and calculation of bio-heat and mass transfer about pig tongue is processed. The temperature field on the surface of tongue is affected by the exhalation of saliva equivalent thermal convection factor which is get from animal model by considering the exhalation of saliva. On the base of experiments, heat and mass transfer equation is built. Then the analytic solution and the variational relationship between 1D temperature field of tongue and blood perfusion rate is get. The result shows the heat transfer of tongue is influenced by the exhalation of saliva distinctly the temperature field which is received by calculating 1D heat and mass transfer model fit experimental data closely. Mass transfer is imported in the bio-heat transfer model which help to study the mechanism of the heat transfer of tongue.
