Abstract
As the fire furnace is being widely used in the industrial production, security and the furnace combustion efficiency become the key factors. We can send signals to the fuel supply device to stop the supply of the fuel when the fire is out by monitoring the flame in the furnace in real time. In this way we can prevent the accumulation of fuel which will cause the explosion and finally make the procedure goes safely. In this design crude oil is heated directly, that means the oil will absorb the heat released by the furnace fuel combustion. UV¿iultraviolet¿j sensor is used to detect the flame in the furnace. Under the specific circumstances of the oil heating furnace, we chose gas as fuel which can be easily got in the oil plant. And more importantly gas will release a lot of UV radiation during the burning of gas, this will make the detection easier and more accurate. The system is very practical and has promising future.
