Abstract :
128 × 128 proton ion image sensors were successfully fabricated by using the CCD/CMOS image sensor technique, and real time imaging of a chemical reaction and pH distribution was carried out. The ion concentration variations by a chemical reaction were observed by 17 msec step (i.e. 57 flames per sec). The image sensor was able to take pH distributions of hippocampus successfully. It means that the novel image sensor can be applied to a biomedical and biochemical field.
