Abstract :
In order to support multimedia and real-time communication over the Internet, it is necessary to develop routing algorithms that support multiple QoS parameters. This is because new services and applications such as video on demand and conference meeting require better QoS. Therefore, QoS routing algorithms must be adaptive and flexible for efficient network management. In this paper, we present a new approach for a multicast routing algorithm for real-time and multimedia applications. This algorithm takes into account multiple QoS constraints, such as delay, jitter, packet loss and bandwidth. Preliminary results show that the algorithm can find the optimal solution and guarantee balanced load on the network.
