Abstract
Summary form only. The present paper details a gain threshold analysis of an organic 632 nm circular grating DFB laser using the coupled mode analysis as a basis for the calculation. The results of the analysis for a uniformly pumped DFB structure having a 0.2 /spl mu/m first-order sinusoidal grating with an outer radius of 50 /spl mu/m and an inner radius of 25 /spl mu/m are shown.
