Abstract :
A wireless transmitter for wearable bio-sensing applications must fulfill very specialized requirements. It has been estimated that for truly wearable systems it must operate with an average power consumption of less than 140 μW. The alternatives, pitfalls, and realistic performance of robust, low power signal transmission will be addressed.
