Abstract :
In current interaction design field, user-oriented research is identified as the main design approach. However, with the rapid development of computer science, human-centered design principle does no longer suffice the social needs. Since rapid growth of technology brings various social problems, a widespread social concern is caused. Expert from different field, including psychologist, social scientists, computer engineers and designers, argued intensely from different perspectives. Designers started to analysis their responsibility of guiding the humanity generation, sublimation and harmonious development among consumers. Therefore social design movement begins. In this paper, I discuss the responsibility of HCI designers on better guiding the humanity generation, sublimation and harmonious development of consumers from design principles, based on the approach of Interaction Design theories, integrated the researches on social studies.
