Abstract :
Summary form only given. In order to generate a high energy green output with high efficiency for pumping a high peak power, ultrashort pulse laser system, a two quadrature frequency conversion scheme was proposed. The experimental arrangement for the two-pass quadrature frequency conversion scheme is shown. The laser source used in this experiment was a Q-switched Nd:YAG laser system. The two type II CsLiB/sub 6/O/sub 10/ crystals were arranged so that the 532-nm second-harmonic beams generated in them are orthogonally polarized.
