Abstract :
Summary form only given. We report on the stabilization of the emission of AlGaAs broad area lasers (BALs) by structured delayed optical feedback (SDOF). Results of macroscopic experiments and microscopic simulations on the basis of semiconductor Maxwell-Bloch delay equations are presented confirming each other.
