Abstract :
Summary form only given. The nonlinear optics of Bessel light beams (BLB) has recently been studied in a number of works. In particular, interesting phase-matching properties for second harmonic generation were demonstrated. We investigate both theoretically and experimentally the features of the sum frequency generation (SFG) in KTiOPO/sub 4/ crystal for mixing the Bessel beams of Nd:YAG and Ti:sapphire lasers.
