Abstract
The Eastern regions of Russia have power economy, which is characterized by a high share of electric and heat energy generation at thermal and electric power stations, at the expense of coal burning. A great role in the power - energetic balance of Russia belongs to the coals from Kansk-Achinsk and Kuznetsky basins. In the paper, presented is a brief analysis of research work dedicated to the development of scientifically grounded solutions for higher ecological and economical effectiveness in KAB applications designed at Thermal Electric Power Stations Department of Polytechnic Institute, Siberian Federal University.
