Abstract :
Summary form only given. In trace gas detection on absorption spectroscopy there is a need for widely tunable narrow bandwidth mid infrared light sources. To our knowledge, we report on the first continuously tunable difference frequency generation spectrometer with a mode hop free tuning range of more than 200 nm. The spectrometer consists of a continuously tunable external cavity laser.
