Abstract :
Summary form only given. The anti-Stokes Raman laser is a perspective way to develop a laser source to produce radiation with shorter wavelength. It is known that effective anti-Stokes radiation can be obtained only under appropriate phase matching angle. The results on developing an anti-Stokes Raman laser are presented. The second harmonic of a Nd:YAG laser with wavelength 532 nm, output energy 2 mJ and pulse frequency 10 Hz was used as a pump source. The Ba(NO/sub 3/)/sub 2/ Raman crystal was 6 cm long. The nonlinear crystal was placed into the additional optical cavity for Stokes generation which consisted of two plane mirrors.
