Abstract
Cyclic Negative Feedback systems (CNF systems) are widely exploited in systems biology to model the sustaining oscillations present in several molecular networks. Furthermore, these systems can display a coexistence of different stable attractors, permitting to suitably describe the differentiating processes arising in living cells. The aim of the manuscript is to characterize, through a spectral based techniques, the localized complex spatio-temporal patterns, such as discrete breathers, occurring in arrays of diffusively coupled CNF systems.
