Abstract :
This paper reports a new technique for measuring aperiodic phase shift induced in the fiber-optic interferometer. The readout can be determined by analyzing four harmonic components of the output of the photodetector without necessity of knowing the Bessel function value, optical source intensity and fringe contrast.
