Abstract
The hydrodynamic stability of Taylor-Couette flow subjected to a radial electric field and a weak injection of charge is investigated. Transit time of ions between electrodes is allowed to be similar or greater than other characteristic times of interest. The regions of linear stability have been delineated for the case of outer rotation
