Abstract
The concurrency, interoperability, and interface relationship of media cause a decrease in efficiency when we develop services for multimedia. To solve these problems, we propose a system called RESMO (Reuse System for Multimedia application Objects). It can provide an efficient development environment for multimedia software. The reuse is provided by registered components in a class library, and after producing them they can be used anytime with reliability without having to making new ones. We discuss the general architecture, interface, system design and practical limitations of the system. Also, it is expected that we can improve the effects of resource sharing in a distributed environment
