Abstract
A novel compact monolithic wavelength reader and photodetector-a novel wavelength reader and photodetector capable of measuring simultaneously both wavelength and intensity. The device with a spectral range over 40 nm with a resolution of 1 nm was realized. A proper tailoring of a DBR reflectance edge allows us to expand the spectral range of a spectrodetector
