  • Abstract
    The system of equations of balance of a heavy thread is studied by limiting transition from the nonlinear equations of balance of a rod. As unknown variables, global projections of a vector of internal force, instead of traditional forces of tension, and a corner are used. It simplifies the operation of joining of threads.
