Abstract :
Summary form only. Random lasing in Coumarin 307 dye with two-photon excitation was observed for the first time, in both scattering and amplifying gelatin samples. Pumping was performed with sub-picosecond laser pulses at 800 nm and the emission, at 450 nm, was observed with a spectrograph streak camera detection system.
