Abstract :
A series of dielectric materials used in temperature-compensating monolithic ceramic capacitors is introduced. These glass-reacted ceramic (GRC) materials are based on controlled sintering between a low-firing glass formulation and a preformulated dielectric ceramic composition (high-temperature ceramic). The GRC systems have superior electrical properties, and a series of dielectrics with different negative temperature coefficients of capacitance can be obtained. The dielectric materials can be fully densified between 1100°C and 1150°C and are used with 70%Ag-30%Pd alloy electrodes
