  • Abstract
This paper discusses development and validation of an instrument that will use to examine knowledge contributor´s behaviour in acceptance of Knowledge Management System (KMS). The instrument is one part of the research that conducts to understand KMS acceptance of knowledge contributor. The instrument is conceptually developed based on the technology acceptance model, existing KMS acceptance model and enhanced with social exchange theory in explaining the unique behaviour of knowledge contributor by using the KMS. The instrument was tested to ensure it achieves adequate validity and reliability aspect. Test of the instrument is conducted using a sample of 30 users in a company in the banking sector. It was found the instrument has acceptable reliability and validity for 6 construct of the instrument, furthermore instrument also found to have strong predictive validity. The final instrument contains 33 item perceptual measurement scales.
