Abstract :
Capacity is the basis of the railway operation management. From the angel of the timetable planning, this paper analyses the scheduled waiting time for the route combined with the character of the market demand as an object, under the condition of the fixed automatic blocking system without the timetable. In the course of the analysis and calculation, it regards procedure of train waiting and acceptance of the service before the first section of the route as a queuing system, e.g., taking the demand of the route service as a non-homogeneous Poisson process, while taking acceptance of the service for operation as a Semi-Markovian process. Based on these, it constructs the M(t)/SM/1/∞/∞/PR queuing model and illustrates the solution method for the scheduled waiting time.
