Abstract :
The classification of the relay protection and automations, the other means of the monitoring, signaling, control, checking is presented. The analysis of relay selectivity is made. The probabilistic theory of the technical effect with very full account characteristic of control objects is used. This all allows possibilities to produce the choice, designing and development of the named relay protection and automations and means of the monitoring, signaling, control and checking.
