Abstract
Recently, it becomes necessary for Energy Management System (EMS) to plan optimal operation with minimizing energy costs, energy consumptions and CO2 emissions. Because these objectives are impossible to minimize at a time, EMS needs multiobjective optimization method. As the existing methods of multiobjective optimization, there are weighting method and constraint method. However it is difficult for these two methods to set up optimal parameters. On the other hand, by applying MOPSO with too many design variables, it is difficult to obtain optimal solutions. In this paper, in order to resolve those difficulties, we propose a multiobjective optimization method named as "modified MOPSO", and show the validity of proposed method applied to EMS for a factory.
